Blogging is great primarily because it's free if nothing else. But more than that, it's one of the most consistent ways of getting traffic. Blogs have been around for years and is probably the most stable engine on the internet. Out of all the trends and all the programs out there, blogging is still considered out there doing what it does best; supply reliable service to internet marketers and regular bloggers alike.
Now when it comes to Cost Per Action companies, you have to ask yourself, why wouldn't want to start out blogging these companies. With so many different types of CPA programs out there, it's really easy to slap a program on the blog and just start writing about it. If anything you will be able to gain some experience promoting something online as well as learn how to promote blogs online as well.
There are three tips you should keep in mind when blogging about CPA programs:
1. Stay On One Topic/Niche
When it comes to blogging, most marketers feel like they need to write about everything dealing with a particular industry. This is not true. It is imperative that you stick one topic niche at a time. You can set up different blogs to support different sub-niches but you don't want to just cram everything in one blog.
For example, if you are talking about photography, it is good for you to narrow your blog down to a narrow niche like wedding photography, or modeling photography, etc. This will get you the best results with your blog.
2. Only Promote One CPA Program On Your Blog
Again, staying on topic will increase your chances of exposure and increase your chances of readership and respect online if you are using a particular CPA program to feature on the blog. You don't want to try and stuff as many programs as you can on the blog. This will look seriously tacky. Just choose one topic per blog.
3. Keep Writing Content
The purpose for a blog is for content purposes. If you don't write enough content, then you will lessen your exposure and you won't be able to consistently rank on Google or any other search engines consistently. You will go from getting little traffic to no traffic at all if you write a couple of blog posts and walk away from the site forever. You must keep writing in order to get the traffic you want.
